Dr. Aaron Brent McKinley M.D.
Dr. McKinley is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist who has practiced in the Wiregrass area since 2008. He graduated from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine and completed his Ophthalmology residency at the University of Mississippi. He completed his fellowship training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. McKinley has extensive experience in the diagnosis, medical and surgical management of glaucoma. He also provides comprehensive eye care and specializes in state-of-the-art refractive cataract surgery, anterior segment surgery, eyelid surgery, and laser vision correction.

As an eye care professional, I stay up to date on the latest advancements in ophthalmology in order to provide the most current treatment options for my patients. As a doctor, I recognize that my patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in me and my team. That is just one reason why I value each and every patient relationship.
Dr. Meredith Tillman Flatt
Dr. Meredith Flatt is a Covington County native who grew up in the Heath community just north of Andalusia. She graduated from Andalusia High School and completed her undergraduate degrees at The University of Alabama. Dr. Flatt obtained her doctorate from The Kentucky College of Optometry in 2020.
Dr. Flatt specializes in preventative primary eye care that includes management of diabetic eye disease, cataracts, macular degeneration, dry eye syndrome, glaucoma and other diseases of the eye. Dr. Flatt enjoys seeing our pediatric patients and recommends your child's first eye exam at 6 months of age. She is excited to be working alongside her father, Dr. Bill Tillman, to continue the legacy of exceptional eye care in South Alabama.
When not in the office, you can find Dr. Flatt traveling with her husband Steven, spending time with family and friends at the beach, the lake, or at continuing education conferences. Dr. Flatt adds, "I believe that to be a good doctor you have to be relatable to your patients, and I enjoy talking with each of my patients. Getting to know and provide care to the people of my community is one of the most rewarding parts of my job."
